Hi Ladies!

I hope you've all had time to grab copies of THE MERYL STREEP MOVIE CLUB. In the days since we've announced this month's book club selection I am amazed how our society is universally in love with Meryl Streep. I've not met a single person who doesn't adore her. So I'm really looking forward to discussing the book and our favorite Meryl Streep movies this month!

Here's the reading schedule. I'll post the first set of discussion questions this weekend.

Week One: Chapters 1-5

Week Two: Chapters 6-10

Week Three: Chapters 11-15

Week Four: Chapters 16-21

I actually purchased the audiobook and am listening on my Ipod.  I love it so far.  I'll have to try and figure out the chapters though.

I am so excited about this book. I've finished it already; maybe I'll have to read the first five chapters again but not sure. I don't pay attention to stars much, so I did not know much about Meryl Streep, except, of course, turns out I've seen a few of these movies.

Linda, doesn't the recorded book say when it is starting new chapters. For sure after the prologue they all go with the names of the three younger women starting with the oldest, so the first five will be Isabel, June, Kat, Isabel, June. Hope you enjoy it.

This is my first online (and/or offline) book club. I'm so glad it's with the She Reads community and "The Meryl Streep Movie Club". I'm on page 23 and am enjoying every word. Looking forward to this new journey!

Yes Cindy, my Ipod ususally does announce the chapters or sometimes just the titles of the chapters.  It also lists on my Ipod what chapter it is.  I just have to remember to listen close or look.  I did manage to stop at chapter 5 but it was hard.  Can't wait for the questions so I can go on.  Smile

I was in Germany when this book was announced. In one of the hotels with wi-fi I was able to purchase the e-book and started reading it!
