A Room Of Her Own

Do you ever wonder where your favorite authors craft their novels? Wish you could get a peek inside? Well, now’s your chance. Starting this month we’re going to open the door into the private writing spaces of our featured authors. First up, Mary DeMuth. Take a peek inside her office and let us know what you think:

I like that the trash bin appears to be empty. This reinforces my stand that Mary DeMuth writes anything but trash. :)

I love it! I am wondering what is on her desk — holes from cleaning out her 3-hole punch, or those little tiny magnets that you can put into different formations? Loving The Muir House, btw :)

Is that an egg timer? I love that! But the ticking would drive me nuts.

Her desk looks so “normal”! So inspiring…I must find her books.

Where’s the Nutella?? I have the very same egg timer. Timers are soooo helpful for keeping people like me focused. Mary, you probably just use it when steeping your tea.

    Wish I were there! ~ R
