Book Blogger Of The Week

2 Comments 08 November 2012

One of our goals for 2012 was to create a reading community. A place where book lovers could come together and discuss not just our monthly selections but lots of books. That dream was realized this summer when we created our blog network: a group of voracious readers who are committed to sharing the stories and authors they love with the world. You can find the entire group here. But we wanted to take some time over the next few months and introduce them to you individually.

Up first is the lovely Jaime Boler.

Why we love her: Jaime is enthusiastic and supportive and she writes some of the most thoughtful book reviews you’ll read anywhere. You’ll definitely want to follow her, regardless of where she is online.

Jaime Boler

Jaime Boler (Bookmagnet’s Blog)

Jaime Boler is a book blogger and freelance reviewer who lives in Laurel, Mississippi.  Jaime earned a Ph.D. in American history and formerly taught at a community college.  From a very young age, her first love was reading.  She hopes to pursue a career in publishing; her dream is to one day work for Oprah Magazine.  For the past several years, she has participated in Elle Magazine’s Readers’ Prize program.  Jaime loves to interview authors on her blog; she has interviewed Lance Weller, Erin Morgenstern, Jonathan Odell, and Jillian Medoff, just to name a few.  She is also an avid book collector and aspiring novelist.  When she’s not reading, Jaime loves swimming, going to the beach, collecting vintage postcards, and spending time with her dogs.
