January Poll

by ariel on January 31, 2010

One of the new features we are implementing this year is a series of polls that will help us know your wants and needs. We’re curious about you. Because you – the reader – are the pulse of the book world.

I spent the greater part of yesterday in a bookstore, without my children. I touched books. I smelled them. I read more first lines than I can count. (I am a sucker for a compelling first line. Thus the reason for this previous post).

When all was said and done, I bought two books. (And I bet you’d like to know what they are. But being the mean, ornery person that I am, you must wait. Because I’ll be chatting them up in the future.)

Which leads us to this month’s poll:

I most often purchase my books, from a Christian Book Store. I also have purchase them on line through Proverbs 31 and lately purchased a couple from Amazon. I don’t borrow books from the library as sometimes, I share them with a friend, but my purpose is to keep them in my library, which I look at often and think of how this book or that one impacted my life.
